By the Pråmkanalen in the heart of Karlstad, Café Slusswakten is where food, culture, and warmth meet.

In a historic canal-side setting, we have created more than a café and restaurant – a vibrant place for culinary experiences, music, and memorable moments, all year round.

In the evenings, our courtyard bistro comes alive around the charcoal grill, where fire, flavor, and atmosphere come together.

Our concept has also gained international attention. Café Slusswakten was selected as a filming location for the acclaimed TV series Kitchen Impossible, where Michelin-level quality and creativity were recognized.
